Stig, the Piano Man, has returned home to New Zealand, after performing in Scandinavia and the United States for the past eight months. He’s a storyteller of the highest caliber. Featuring the music of Elton John, Billy Joel, Cat Stevens, Harry Chapin, Pink Floyd, and other greats, an audience is transported on a journey of mirth, whimsy, loss, and redemption.
Stig is performing his first concert here at ‘The Brewery’ on Sunday, December 18 @ 8 pm, and he’s looking forward to catching up with friends and fans alike, after such a tumultuous year. Expect a few surprise guests!

Originally brewed as a one off beer for use through a beer engine, Voyager is now being relaunched as a carbonated IPA on tap and in 500ml bottles.
Tasted on tap at Cassel’s. Straw coloured, clear and clean with evident carbonation and a white head that dissipated and clung to the sides of the glass. Aromas of rising bread, pastry, dandelions and buttercups. Cool initially and then sweet with those savoury pastry flavours. Less overt summer fruit flavours, but veers toward glace fruits in Christmas cake. The finish was a little short but a good quencher.
